Join a historical trip to the source of our research and teaching

Every two years, we embark on a transformative journey to the heart of Holocaust history, specifically focusing on the medical atrocities that unfolded during this dark period. This journey is not just a sightseeing tour; it's an immersive experience designed to deepen your understanding and equip you to bring a living history home as a CMATH Champion.

Walk where history unfolded

Stand at the gates of Auschwitz-Birkenau, and contemplate the magnitude of medical experimentation and suffering.

Visit the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, where inmates were subjected to forced sterilization and other unethical medical practices.

Explore the Anatomical Institute of the University of Heidelberg, a center of research intertwined with Nazi ideology.

Engage in guided discussions with scholars and experts at each site, gaining crucial historical context and insights.
